There's never a bad season to do something good for your skin...especially the skin on your face. However, for me, summertime schedule just seems to allow more time to make skin pampering a priority. To me, nothing says face skin pampering better then a face mask. One of my favorite masks to make at home is an Indian Healing Clay mask (also known as Bentonite Clay-google benefits of Bentonite Clay to learn more). You just need 3 ingredients and you can start your at home pampering: Indian Healing Clay, Apple Cider Vinegar, and Lavender oil.
- In a glass bowl mix equal parts Indian Healing Clay & Apple Cider Vinegar (for a single face application I personally like to use 1 tablespoon of each-start there and see if you prefer more) together.
- Add 2-3 drops of YL Lavender oil to the mixture (the Lavender is great for skin support and also cuts the smell of the Apple Cider Vinegar).
- Once everything is mixed together, spread the mask on your clean face and neck (leaving space around your eyes), and relax until the mask dries (normally between 10-15 minutes).
- Then simply wash the mask off with warm water.
Here's to carving out time for a little pampering this summer!
