Peanut Butter Granola (with Thieves Vitality)

After School Snack: Vanilla Yogurt, Berries, & Homemade Peanut Butter Granola.  I feel like my boys are ALWAYS hungry! Can I get an "Amen" from all the moms out there?! As the mom to 3 growing boys, I try my best to find delicious and somewhat healthy options for snacks (although there are definitely times because of their schedules that I fail at that too). I love when I find a recipe that was super easy to make, and the boys devour (especially when I know that there is no added sugar and I can pronounce every ingredient involved- #momwin). This homemade Peanut Butter Granola fits the bill...it's easy to make, and there are rarely leftovers for long! Best part...the Granola gets a flavor boost (and offers immunity support), by adding 3 drops of Thieves Vitality. This recipe makes the perfect addition to a yogurt & berry after school snack, the perfect addition to a trail mix for times when you are on the go, or a delicious breakfast.

    Peanut Butter Granola

You will need:

2 cups of quick cooking oats

1/4 teaspoon of salt

1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon

1/4 cup natural peanut butter

1/4 cup of honey

1/2 teaspoon of maple extract (vanilla would work well too)

3 drops of Young Living's Thieves Vitality Oil

 Directions:

•Preheat your oven to 325 degrees and grease a cookie sheet (set the cookie sheet aside for now).

•In a small bowl mix together 2 cups of quick cooking oats, 1/4 teaspoon of salt & 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon.

•In a microwave safe bowl mix 1/4 cup of natural peanut butter, 1/4 cup of honey, 1/2 teaspoon of maple extract (vanilla would work well too), and 3 drops of Thieves Vitality oil. Once mixed microwave until melted (it only took 30 seconds in my microwave)

•Combine the wet and dry ingredients and spread the mixture on your greased cookie sheet

•Bake for 20-25 minutes until nice and toasty.

❤️ Enjoy!
